Coronavirus | Covid-19
March 2021On the back of the latest Coronavirus briefings, we would like to take this opportunity to update our patients as to the progress we are making with seeing patients.
Our dental family would like to extend our sincere thank you and appreciation to all of our lovely patients for their compassion and understanding during what has been a very chaotic time for all dentists, shops and literally all businesses.
We are still currently working through significantly large lists of our registered patients from before and during the length of this terrible pandemic. It is our priority to make sure we see these patients who are urgently requiring treatment. There are less appointments than usual and these appointments take longer, so our team are working exceptionally hard when ensuring our commitment to every and all safety measure, dental guideline and/or additional hygiene protocol.
It is our hope that we can provide routine appointments and resume usual check-ups in the coming months - please follow our social media and website for any updates on this as we navigate through the pandemic. Furthermore, our team will inform patients directly as to when we will be beginning routine appointments again.
If you are registered with us (i.e. have had attended an appointment before), please let us know if you are in pain or have concerns about your oral health, one of our team will advise you on the phone as to when we can see you.
We have also had a large number of requests to register. Thank you for your calls, emails and online forms wishing to register with our practice. Rest assured we have now added your information to our system and our team will inform you as to when we can see you in 2021. Please remember, your registration is ONLY complete after your initial new patient examination at the practice.
We appreciate this is a difficult time as we, at the moment, are only able to see those patients with dental emergencies who are previously/currently registered with us prior to the Covid 19 lockdown. However, if you are experiencing pain, please contact your usual dentist as they should be able to see you.
If you are not fully registered at any dentist you can contact the Dental Information and Advice Helpline number – (Monday to Friday 0830-1700) on 0845 644 2271.
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and look forward to seeing all patients as soon as we can.
Last, but not least, our current opening hours are Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm except from 24/12 and 31/12 where we be closing at 2pm. We are closed on 25/12, 28/12, 01/01 and 04/01.
Coronavirus has changed the way all our health services work. All dentists are now open, but dental services will be delivered differently during the pandemic.
If you're registered with us and have any oral pain or something in your mouth you're unsure about, call the dentist you’re registered with. The team will advise you about the options available and guide you to make sure you get the right treatment.
Due to physical distancing and infection control measures, dentists can only offer a certain amount of appointments each day, and priority will be given with urgent problems such as toothache.
When attending your appointment, your dental practice will look a bit different, but please follow the guidance to help reduce the risk of infection.
These changes are in place to protect you, your family and staff. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Thank you for your understanding
Our teams have been working around the clock following the reopening guidance to the letter in ensuring the safest possible environment for our patients and our staff. Extensive training, new protocols, and a new approach will be on display when you arrive and we kindly ask you listen to the instructions of our dedicated team when guiding you through the practice.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
